A quick update for those of you who are looking forward to the special NIGHT OF CLASSICS, featuring the music of Madness, plus some of the hits of The Specials and The Beat. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the date has been changed, but the good news is that you don’t have as long to wait, as it’s on Friday 4 March!

Doors open at 7.30 pm, with the Band taking to the stage of the Armstrong Hall for their first set at 8.00 pm.  Some of the cast members of the Northavon Youth Theatre Company production of OUR HOUSE, plus a couple of friends, have formed a group called IT’S MADNESS for this special event, which is a fundraiser for the production, which is also at the Armstrong Hall, from 19 to 23 April, with an energetic cast of 60 young people!

This is an opportunity to illustrate the musical and vocal skills of some of these talented youngsters and to be transported back to the era of Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love and so many more great numbers.  Tickets for the evening’s entertainment are just £4.50 and can be purchased from Thornbury Town Hall, by ringing 07748054184, or from students of the Northavon School of Drama, which performs as NYTC.  People of all ages are welcome and the evening is an excuse to revisit a fun era or discover it for the first time, so dig out that trilby and join us in our House of Fun!
