SCOUTS FIREWORK CELEBRATION
1st Severn Beach Scout group are planning to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee with the lighting of a Beacon at 10pm on Monday June 4th. All are welcome to the sea wall at Severn Beach (Old Blue Lagoon site) from about 7pm where hotdogs/ burgers etc will be available.
There will be a display of Fireworks. All proceeds, including bucket collection, will go towards the purchase of an
emergency defibulator for the villages
St Georges Day seems a long time ago now but I’d like to thank St Peters Church for playing host to this special service and to all those from the Group who supported a really great event. One of Explorer Scouts got to make his Shakespearian debut at the service with a smashing costumed performance of a speech from Henry V, well done Harry.
